Gloria Vanderbilt (born 1924)
Gloria Vanderbilt, the “poor little rich girl”, was born into the famous Vanderbilt family of New York. She studied at the Art Students League in New York and has been widely exhibited and her work has been licensed it by Hallmark. She has also designed glassware, silverware, and linens, and a designer line of clothing in the 1970s. She has authored three books, including a memoir of the loss of her son to suicide.
