Kevin Red Star (Born 1943)
Born on the Crow Reservation near the town of Lodge Grass, Montana, Kevin Red Star attended the Institute of American Indian Arts (Scottsdale) and the San Francisco Arts Institute. His work is included in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (Washington, D.C.), the Whitney Museum of Western Art (Cody, WY), the Heard Museum (Phoenix, AZ), the Denver Art Museum, the Institute of American Indian Arts (Santa Fe, NM), and the U.S. Department of State’s Art in the Embassies collections.
