Royal Stanley ware was made by Colclough and Co. in Longton, Staffordshire, England. The company was in business from 1887 to 1928 but most Stanley ware was probably produced towards the end of that period. Another company The Stanley Pottery Ltd, also in Longton (1928 to 1939), also used the same printed mark on the base of their products.
