Roseville Laurel Pattern
The Roseville Laurel Pattern originated in 1934. Berries on branches with elongated leaves flanked by four vertical lines. There are 19 Laurel shapes. Of these, 18 were used once and one came in two sizes. Laurel is a middle period line designed by Frank Ferrell with above average popularity and below average availability. No mark on the glazed bottom. May be found with original Roseville sticker intact. Fakes imported from Japan have been found with light monochrome background. The fakes have typically weighed less than the originals.
Colors:
Green with sandy tan vertical lines, dark brown branches and violet berries.
Monochrome yellow with brown leaves and a black background to the vertical lines.
Monochrome persimmon with green leaves and black between the vertical lines.
