Roseville Pottery Poppy Pattern
Roseville’s Poppy pattern presents one or two white, yellow or pink poppy flowers on stems with deeply serrated zigzag leaf, 1930. Backgrounds include pink, cream/green, cream/pink, pink/green, yellow/blue gray, and yellow/brown. Mark: Roseville impressed. 41 total shapes: 36 were used once with another used twice. The vase, shape #648, came in three sizes. The bowl, shape #336, came in five sizes from 3″ to 10.” And shape #642, the jardiniere, came in seven sizes ranging from 3″ to 10.” The pedestal was unnumbered. Poppy is a middle period Roseville line.
