Charles Henry Kellner (1890-1979)
A Chicago painter, Kellner was born in Kasa, Czechoslovakia in 1890. His family moved to New York and Charles eventually moved to Chicago. He studied with Victor Higgins, W.J. Reynolds, and Harry Lachman. He was a member of the Chicago Society of Artists, All-Illinois Society of Fine Artists, and the Chicago Palette and Chisel Club. Kellner exhibited murals at the Illinois Building at the New York Worlds Fair (1939), the Golden Gate Exhibition, and the All-Illinois Society of Fine Artists.
