Albertus Eugene Jones (American, 1882 to 1957)
Albertus E. Jones lived in Connecticut and was mostly active in his state of residence. He is a well-known painter of landscapes who studied under Noel Flagg and was also a WPA artist. He studied at the Connecticut League of Art Students. He also taught at the School for Creative Work and the Randall School (in Connecticut). He exhibited widely and won awards in Connecticut during the first half of the 20th century.
