Hardime, Simon – Belgian Artist

Simon Hardime (Flemish, 1664/72 to 1737)

Born at Antwerp in 1664 or 1672, Hardime taught painting to his brother Pieter, and eventually moved to London in 1720. He remained there, a successful painter of floral still lifes, until his death in 1737.
