Evelyn Borchard Metzger (1911-2004)
Metzger painted a variety of subjects in various styles including realism, impressionism, fauvism and cubism. She painted many urban genre scenes of New York City. In 1950, she had a major exhibition in Argentina and then exhibited in France, Mexico and the United States. Her work is in the Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC.
