Channing Weir Hare (1899-1976)
Channing Hare was born in New York in 1899. He studied at the Art Students League and with Robert Henri and George Bellows. He exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Society of Independent Artists. He passed away in Palm Beach, Florida in 1976.
