Edward R. Sitzman (1874-1949)

Edward Sitzman was active particularly in Indiana, as a landscape and still life painter, as well as a graphics artist. He studied with Duveneck and H. Farney and at the Cincinnati Art Academy, in London and in Munich. He was a member of Indiana A.C., the Indianapolis A.A. and the Chicago Gallery Association. His work can be seen today at the Cincinnati Art Museum, and in many Indiana public libraries and schools.
